War Over Venus: Clouds of Conquest

This is a submission to the Game Mockup Jam. The task was to create a screenshot of a game that may never exist. I could have created up to 4 screenshots for this game but I decided on just one:

Embark on a thrilling journey through the deadly skies above Venus in 'War Over Venus: Clouds of Conquest', a retrofuturistic dogfighting game where survival is key. Take control of a WWII-style plane armed with laser weapons and engage in intense battles against rival blimp cities floating in the clouds.

But beware, the acidic rain will slowly corrode your plane over time, making every second count. If you fall beneath the clouds, a sea of scorching lava awaits, spelling certain doom. With nowhere to land except for these floating cities, it's a world of constant warfare where victory is the only means of survival. Do you have what it takes to outgun your foes and emerge as the ultimate champion?
